If you ever stopped by Camp Yucca at Watkins Glen you will remember watching/participating with good people (friends) shaking the baby (1 gallon jar) because the jar is all wrapped up in a towel full of lemons, limes, sugar, ice, and vodka shaken until the sweet, sweet nectar is ready for a large 1 gallon pitcher of yucca shots for anyone who might be around (21 years or older). And if you weren't around to watch/participate you probably heard the Yucca Monster (Paint Shaker) madly shaking up the sweet mixture in a 1 gallon Paint can.
Yucca Shots
Yucca is a combination of lemons, limes, sugar, ice, and vodka all mixed together into a sweet nectar!
Yucca Recipe
Supplies/Things Needed To Make Yucca:
Ingredients: For Full 1 Gallon Batch
- 1 gallon jar full of ice
- 6 - Whole-lemons squeezed (Juice Only)
- 1 - Whole-Lime squeezed (Juice Only)
- 1 cup sugar
- Top of the 1 gallon jar of ice with (Good Vodka) to the top!
- Shake for 10 minutes - it gets really cold, so wrap in a towel!
- Pour the sweet Yucca nectar into 1 or 2 ounce cups
- Salute to loved ones, good time & good friends!
